St. John the Baptist Elementary School
The mission of St. John the Baptist School is to ensure that each student achieves the overarching goal of Catholic education to become responsible, caring citizens ready and willing to serve others. The school provides a well-rounded educational program that maintains high academic standards and that is rooted in Catholic faith, culture, and values.
St. John the Baptist is a parish-based school. Grades Pre-K to 8, Full day Pre-K for 4-year-olds. In September 2024, SJB will begin a full day program for 3-year-old children. Follows New York State and Archdiocese of New York Guidelines for ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies plus Religious instruction. Enrichment instruction includes Art, Music, Physical Education, Theater Arts (Grades 4-5). Afterschool programs include Basketball, Volleyball, Community and Christian Community Service projects, Altar Servers, Choir, Scouts, Band. Aftercare from 2:30 – 5:30 pm.
