The Catholic High Schools of the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens Announce
THE 2017 TEST FOR A DMISSION INTO CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOLS 2018
Students in the eighth grade during the 2017-2018 school year wishing to apply for fall 2018 admission into Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of New York and the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens are eligible.
Archdiocese of New York: Friday, November 3, 2017, at established test sites in Manhattan, Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, Orange, Rockland, and Dutchess Counties.
Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens: Saturday, November 4, 2017, at test sites in Brooklyn and Queens.
The test is designed to measure school aptitude and scholastic achievement in Reading, Mathematics, and Language.
Beginning August 21, you may register via the Internet at www.tachsinfo.com or by telephone from 8:00am to 7:00pm Eastern Time Monday–Friday and 10:00am to 2:00pm Eastern Time Saturday–Sunday at 1-866-61TACHS (1-866-618-2247). You may obtain a hard copy of the Student Handbook from a Catholic elementary or high school, religious education office or parish. Student Handbooks also available at www.tachsinfo.com.
An examination fee of $63 will include a student handbook, test materials, and the reporting of scores to THREE high schools of your choice. Duplicate registrations will result in a processing fee.
