Our goal is to ensure that no child is denied a Catholic school education due to financial constraints. Every year, the Archdiocese of New York and its Parishes, Inner-City Scholarship Fund and Children’s Scholarship Fund make new Financial Assistance and Scholarship awards available to qualifying families at participating schools.

We encourage all families who believe they fall within the income guidelines below to apply for Financial Assistance. Click here to see if you might qualify.

We do not inquire about the immigration status of any family or child for purposes of applying for admissions or financial assistance.

IMPORTANT: please remember to fill in your Financial Assistance application for the upcoming school year as soon as you have submitted your Admissions Application. You will be given a special link and access code to apply for Financial Assistance for your family after you submit your online Admissions Application.

  • You can include multiple children in the same Financial Assistance application.
  • Please use the same email address and password you used for your Admissions Application when you login.

Our Scholarship Programs include:

The Inner-City Scholarship Fund

Inner-City Scholarship Fund changes lives for the better by providing families with demonstrable financial needs the opportunity to give their children a quality, values-based K-12 Catholic education within the Archdiocese of New York. Inner-City ensures that the gift of an excellent Catholic school education continues to be a viable option for students of all faiths today and for future generations to come.

Inner-City Catholic Schools

Nearly 70% of the students enrolled in designated elementary and secondary inner-city Catholic schools in Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island come from homes living at or below the federal poverty line. The average scholarship recipient’s family income is approximately $24,000 per year. Over 50% of inner-city Catholic school students come from single-parent households.

Despite these impediments, our Catholic schools—in partnership with our donors—enable our students and their families to overcome enormous odds and, through education, tuition aid and your charitable giving, break the cycle of poverty.

We invite our like-minded friends to share their time, talent and treasure to support the mission of Catholic education. Click here to donate.

The Children’s Scholarship Partnership Regional Awards Program

These scholarships were created as a result of Pathways to Excellence, the strategic plan of the Office of the Superintendent of Schools to regionalize Catholic schools. Funded by the Archdiocese of New York and The Children’s Scholarship Fund, the program has almost 2,000 children from Manhattan, Bronx, Staten Island, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester currently enrolled.

Requirements and participating schools are different for both scholarship programs. Please review the program information carefully and apply to the program that meets your needs.
