Free half-day Universal Pre-K (UPK Site # 31RAAA) with Pre-K 4 extended day; Pre-K through 8th Grade. The Academy of St. Dorothy was founded in 1932 by the Sisters of St. Dorothy. The Sisters continue to be involved with the spiritual guidance of the children and their families. The Academy of Saint Dorothy is an AdvancED accredited school, featuring air-conditioned classrooms with technology integrated into various aspects of classroom instruction. Drama, Girl
Scouts, and Music Lessons are offered as after-school activities. Founded in 1905, Cathedral High School is a Catholic college preparatory school created with the goal of providing young women future success through education. Located in midtown Manhattan, the school offers an excellent education at a reasonable cost. In addition to the religions curriculum required by the Archdiocese of New York and the core curriculum required by the State of New York, Cathedral High School has a Gateways to Health Program that introduces students to various health care careers and allows them to intern at several medical facilities.
