St. Ann’s Peas & Karrots, Ossining NY, is a not-for-profit Early Childhood Center. We accept children ages 18 months to 5 years during school hours, and up to age 11 for our after school programs. We pride ourselves in following the Common Core with a structured academic curriculum enhanced by lots of hands-on activities. Students in our 4 year old program learn to read and explore basic math skills. Our teachers are long time St. Ann School alumni, who believe that children are the most precious gifts from God. Peas & Karrots hosts numerous specialists that bring their talents to our students. ‘Recess Rocks’ by Open Door, gives rhythm and movement classes every Wednesday. Girl Scout leader, Ms. Denise, brings new arts and crafts ideas. Grades: Toddler Program and Pre-K3 and Pre-K4; After-school programs include inside and outside sports directed by our own CYO coaches. Homework and reading/math skills are daily activities that are performed in small groups, emphasizing individual attention for maximum results.
