Sacred Heart Elementary School
Sacred Heart School provides all children with a Values-Infusion Curriculum deeply rooted in Catholicism. It is a priority at Sacred Heart School to instill in each child the importance of developing his or her unique talents. Through educating the total child, spiritually, academically and physically every child is prepared not only for success in high school and college, but for success as citizens of an ever-changing world.
Grades Pre-K 3 to 8; FREE 3K and UPK (UPK Site # 31RABJ); Adherence to Common Core State Standards and the Archdiocese of New York Religious Education curriculum; Certified Teachers; Blended Learning, small group instruction, project-based learning, collaborative learning; STEM-Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math integrated programs, Robotic/STEM program in collaboration with St. Joseph by the Sea team working with students on various activities to prepare them for high school, one to one Chromebooks in K-8; Title I Reading, Math and Counselor; Enrichment program includes: Library, Art, Music, Physical Education, Theatre Group and National Junior Honor Society; Competitive Sports programs include: Basketball, Track, and Soccer; Morning/After Care Programs.
