Our Lady Star of the Sea Elementary School
Founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1959, Our Lady of the Sea School is dedicated to all student’s growth in faith, academics, personal awareness, social interaction and future success. Through diverse classroom instruction, teachers strive to instill strong Christian values, a desire to learn, the ability to meet challenges and a rich understanding of the world.
Grades Pre-K to 8; Our Lady Star of the Sea offers a rigorous curriculum in a fully air-conditioned building. Enrichment programs include art, music, physical education, and computer classes, for all students in K-8. Spanish classes for PreK 4 to 5 grade. STEM programs include MegaMinds, Supernovas and the SOLE program with St. Joseph by the Sea High School. Fully equipped technology lab, individual iPads for students in grades 6-8 and Chromebooks for students in K-5. Resource Room, onsite SETSS, Speech OT, PT and counseling services available. Sacramental preparation program, Altar Servers, National Junior Honor Society, fully inclusive sports program and active community outreach opportunities. ADAPP counselor, full-time Department of Health nurse and two full-time security guards. Morning and Aftercare available for students in K-8.
