The John Cardinal O’Connor School provides the benefits of a Catholic education to children with learning differences. The school empowers children to thrive academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially in a nurturing and supportive community. In addition, social skills are directly taught through Catholic doctrine and a curriculum that supports character development and pro-social behavior. Through classes with a low student-to-teacher ratio, taught by New York State certified special education teachers, and additional academic guidance and support, students are able to achieve their academic and personal goals. In addition, students can receive related services such as speech and language therapy, counseling, occupational therapy, and physical therapy as indicated on their Individualized Education Services Program (IESP).

JCOS is a resource for children who learn differently. The school’s dedication and commitment to a well-rounded education for students who learn differently has made our private Catholic school one of the foremost in Westchester County. We look forward to the opportunity to help your child acquire important academic, social, and emotional skills during the critical elementary and middle school years. JCOS has year-round enrollment based on availability. We recommend applying before June 1st of the upcoming school year to be able to receive related services of speech, OT, PT and counseling. Please feel free to contact us with your questions and concerns.
