Founded in 1854, Immaculate Conception School, is the oldest Catholic school in the Bronx. Immaculate Conception School offers excellent academics in a safe environment, and a values-based education that encourages your child to use his/her talents in service of others. Dedicated faculty strive to develop students academically, spiritually, psychologically, and physically. Immaculate Conception School prides itself on its inclusive environment in which diversity is respected and celebrated.
Immaculate Conception School, serving students from Pre-K 3 to 8th grade, offers a dynamic and supportive environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. We provide full-day Pre-K and Kindergarten programs, an after-school program with homework supervision, and a curriculum enriched by technology integration. Our facilities include a fully equipped library and renovated gym. Our students benefit from specialized support with the assistance of a literacy coach, and personalized support through Title 1 services.
Beyond academics, we offer a variety of extracurricular activities to nurture students’ talents and leadership skills. These include Eagle Circle (a student leadership group), a varsity basketball team, a cheer squad, art club, homework helpers, the Hope Walk Community Service Group, Mass choir, and intramural sports like basketball, soccer, and volleyball, offered in the fall and spring. With free breakfast and lunch programs and convenient access by car or public transportation, we ensure a well-rounded, inclusive experience for every child.
