Frequently Asked Questions

What is the deadline for submitting a Financial Assistance application?

Financial assistance applications will be available in early December 2024 and will continue to be accepted as funds are available. The earlier students apply, the better their chances of receiving financial assistance.

Who qualifies for Financial Assistance?

Financial assistance is determined by the family size and income.

We are committed to making a Catholic education affordable for every child. However, our resources are limited, and we are unable to provide FREE tuition for any child. Given that, and because we do not want the choice of a Catholic school to become too great a sacrifice for any family, we require that each family be able to demonstrate a minimum annual income of $15,000 in order to be eligible for financial assistance. If you have questions or concerns about whether your income will meet this standard please do not hesitate to contact our parent helpline at (646) 794-3318.

This is a suggested guideline of incomes used when determining financial need.

Household Size Eligible Income, up to
2 $102,200
3 $129,100
4 $156,000
5 $182,900
6 $209,800
7 $236,700
8 $263,600

*Eligible income includes: Income as reported on a federal form 1040 in addition to public assistance, food stamps, child support or alimony, Social Security benefits, SSI, and/or disability, unemployment benefits, workers compensation, other government assistance and financial aid from family/friends if applicable.

What are other conditions for applying?

  • There is a non-refundable $45 processing fee when applying for financial assistance.
  • Make sure you have all the required documents: Only applications submitted with all required supporting documents will be considered for financial assistance processing. Required documents are listed at the end of the application after submission in your FACTS account and will also be emailed to you.
  • You must also submit an admissions application for the school that you list on your financial assistance application. Assistance will not be awarded until a student has been admitted.

How is financial assistance awarded?

Financial assistance is based on income, family size, and availability of funds. The earlier students apply the better their chance of receiving financial assistance.

When will financial assistance awards be communicated?

  • An application will not be considered for an award until it is fully completed, and all supporting documentation is received and reviewed by FACTS.
  • All financial assistance notifications are sent by e-mail. Please make sure your e-mail address is listed correctly on your application.
  • New students will not receive notifications of their financial assistance award until AFTER they have completed their admissions interview visit and been accepted by the school.
  • Please do not contact your school directly, as financial assistance decisions are made by the Archdiocese of New York, and not by individual schools. If you have questions about your financial assistance application, please contact the ADNY parent helpline at (646) 794-3318.

All information and documentation provided in your application is kept strictly confidential.
