Archdiocese of New York Superintendent Dr. Timothy McNiff was featured on Bronx News Channel 12 today, commenting on the importance of school safety at Catholic Schools. In the months since the shooting tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Catholic Schools across the Archdiocese of New York have focused not only on physical protection, but also mental health awareness and anti-bullying measures. McNiff commented: “If you want your school to be safe, really work on bullying. All of our schools have an anti-bullying curriculum that we work with, with teachers and guidance counselors.” > Click here for the News 12 video > For parents concerned about school safety, visit a Catholic School to find out more about our programs.
