The Catholic School Difference
#1: Safe, Nurturing Environment.
Our schools offer daily in-class instruction and have built a successful track record of remaining open while keeping our students and faculty safe – through proven health, safety and emergency response protocols.
#2: Focus on the Whole Child.
From Pre-K through 12th grade, Catholic schools provide the foundation in faith and academics needed to succeed in high school and beyond. Community service projects, where students help create and deliver support to their local communities, are integral to Catholic school student life.
#3: Learning Momentum Maintained.
Catholic schools offer a more personal learning experience for students, through smaller class sizes. In addition, individualized instruction and regular assessments help students improve their learning – teaching them to build on their strengths to overcome their learning barriers.
#4: Preparation for High School and Life.
Catholic schools offer a faith-based, future-focused curriculum that instills self-discipline and integrates modern technology with traditional classroom instruction. In addition to Math, Religion and English/Language/Arts, our schools offer enhanced classroom technology and STEM programs, robust literacy tools and engaging art programs.
#5: Family-Friendly.
Many schools offer early drop-off and late pick-up to accommodate parents’ schedules. Parents are warmly welcomed to regular parent-teacher meetings, where they can share in their child’s learning and participate in their school community.
#6: Parent Support.
Financial assistance awards cover a significant portion of tuition for qualifying families at participating schools. And, through the ADAPP program, parents and students have free access to counselling and support for issues ranging from pandemic-related stress to mental health.
#7: Academic Achievement
Catholic school students have continued to outpace New York City public schools, where 51.7% of all students passed reading and 49.9% passed math in 2023. In addition, over 99% of our high school seniors graduate, and the vast majority of those grads go on to college or post-secondary education.
