St. Peter's Boys High School (Boys)
St. Peter’s Boys High School is a parish Catholic school founded in 1917, which seeks to nurture mature men who achieves their fullest academic potential, reflect Christian values in their daily lives, and recognize their civic responsibilities as a member of the larger world community. St. Peter’s is operated by the Christian Brothers of St. John Baptist de La Salle, a worldwide Religious order of 9,000 men with a history of over 300 years of teaching experience.
Accredited by the New York State Board of Regents; Middle States Accreditation; College Preparatory curriculum; Opportunities to earn college credits through Advanced Placement (AP) courses and dual enrollment with St. John’s University; Campus improvements in the last 10 years include: new science and computer labs, new library, chapel, and guidance complex, modernized cafeteria, renovated gym, new football/soccer field and track, and a Fully equipped 4000 square foot athletic/weight training facility; 11 sports teams to choose from, offered at three levels (freshmen, J.V., and varsity); Numerous extra-curricular and service organizations provide students with opportunities to develop their individual strengths and interests.
