Serving the community since 1929 under the direction of the Sisters of the Divine Compassion and now under continued faith-first leadership with Dr. Lorraine Rodriguez, Our Lady of Mount Carmel School (OLMC) provides a rigorous academic program rooted in faith, service, and compassion. Our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and engaged parish community work together to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

School At-a-Glance

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School serves students from Pre-K through 8th grade and is Cognia Accredited. Guided by Catholic tradition, we emphasize faith formation through monthly school Masses, student-led service projects, and daily values-based learning. Our early childhood program offers full-day Pre-K and Kindergarten with early drop-off options, and our after-school Stay N Play program includes snack, structured homework time, and play. Academics are enriched through departmental classes (grades 5–8), Spanish instruction (upper grades), Art, Music, Physical Education, and Technology integration. Students also benefit from enrichment opportunities such as Robotics, Theater Arts, Gardening, and partnerships that enhance creative learning. The school features Promethean Boards, 1:1 tech device usage, and digital report cards through FACTS. The Pastoral Center offers community and school supports through faith formation and outreach, while an active Parent Guild, volunteer programs, and family events foster a strong home-school partnership. All students receive free breakfast, lunch, and after-school snacks, ensuring that every child is nourished, supported, and ready to learn.
