Iona Preparatory Lower School
Iona Preparatory Lower School is a Catholic community inspired by the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice as expressed in the Essential Elements of a Christian Brothers Education. We develop young men into moral and ethical leaders who are dedicated to Christian service and who strive for spiritual, intellectual and physical excellence.
Grades Pre-K to 8; daily religious instruction with sacramental preparation; Reading Workshop, Middle School Honors Math & English Language Arts program, fully equipped Science lab: Co-Curricular instruction includes: Music, Art, Foreign language (Spanish), Technology, and Physical Education; The 11-acre campus includes: playground, football, baseball and soccer fields. Students have full access to facilities of Iona Preparatory Upper School as well. Extra-curricular activities include: Community Service projects, Drama, Sports, Chess, Student Council. Sports include: basketball, soccer, football, lacrosse, baseball, and cross country/track. Active and supportive parent organizations.
