An ongoing educational series is giving students a ”rock-solid” foundation in the sciences. Con Edison’s “STEM Days Out” program continued at the Staten Island Museum Wednesday with a hands-on lesson in geology. Middle school students from Holy Rosary learned about the Earth and the rocks that form it. The courses are meant to engage kids in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
