Welcome to the Catherine Corry Early Childhood Academy, an annex to St. Francis of Assisi School. The Corry Academy opened its doors in October 2012 offering a premier early childhood program in a newly renovated building. At the Corry Academy, we celebrate the individuality of the early learner and offer an enriching and nurturing environment grounded in the philosophy that young children learn through play. Our thematic-based instruction is aligned with the New York State Prekindergarten Foundations for the Common Core

Corry Academy offers FREE 3K and Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK Site # 11XAQL), before and after school programs, free breakfast program, and a delicious hot lunch program. Our school caters to the needs of our parents with a rolling admissions policy throughout the year. We are constantly expanding our program to accommodate the needs of the Wakefield community. Our doors are always open, so please feel free to call, email or stop by to schedule an appointment and experience a school where personal integrity and academic excellence meet!

St. Catharine Academy Middle School provides our students with a Catholic education in the Mercy tradition. All content areas are aligned with the Next Generation Learning Standards. Additionally, our students enjoy expanded opportunities in STEM, Art, Music, and Gym, sharing resources with St. Catharine Academy High School. Every middle school student has a dedicated guidance counselor.

Grades 6-8. Extra-curricular activities, as well as before and after school care, are available. SETTs services are available for students with IESPs, and Algebra and Living Science courses are available to qualified Grade 8 students.

St. Clare of Assisi-St. Francis Xavier School was formed at the end of the 2022-23 academic year through the merger of St. Clare of Assisi School with St. Francis Xavier School. These two schools combined have educated thousands of children in the Morris Park community in the Bronx for over 90 years, with a curriculum based on Catholic philosophy and values.
